Accident and Sickness
We offer an exclusive program of accident and sickness insurance for college
students. The program is currently available in 44 states, and the District of
Columbia. Our program is underwritten by Monumental Life Insurance Company. Monumental Life Insurance Company
is part of the AEGON Group of companies,
and is rated "A" for financial strength by A.M. Best & Co. as of
April 23, 2009. Bollinger Inc.
handles all administration of the program including underwriting and quoting,
policy issuance, eligibility and billing, as well as paying claims. There are
currently over 180 colleges and universities covered by our program. Our program
offers a wide choice of plans and plan options. Some of the highlights of our
program are as follows:
- Maximum benefits up to $250,000 are available
- Intercollegiate Sports programs available
- Benefit Structure can be tailored to each college's needs
- Voluntary, compulsory, and various waiver enrollment methods offered
- PPO networks available on a non-mandatory basis
- Toll free 800 phone number available for use by all college administrators,
students, parents, and claimants
- Separate websites set up for each college's student health plan to answer
questions and facilitate plan communication
